My Favorite Newspaper Tools for Genealogy

This is a great list. I'd also suggest looking at individual state archives and see if they have anything. I found some 1880's newspapers that way accidentally while I was looking for something else.

This is a great list, Thomas. Thanks for posting it. I was surprised that you didn't include http://news.google.com/newspapers or http://news.google.com/archivesearch. Google has many old newspapers available.

Thanks Nancy - I think because in my Research Toolbox, I have Google News Archive listed with all the other Google search engine links http://destinationaustinfamily.blogspot.com/p/research-toolbox.html
