Missing Yearbook Photos? Help Is On The Way
1960
Are you missing yearbook photos of your parents or perhaps other relatives, both living and unliving? Or are you wondering what you might look like in some of the hair fashions of yesteryears, such as the Beehive, Tower of Barrel Curls, Freedom 'Fro or others? Not to worry. Yearbook Yourself is here to help.
The website allows you to take a photo of a loved one or a friend (for illustrative purposes I am using photos of myself and my beautiful assistant Miriam Midkiff Robbins of AnceStories: The Stories of My Ancestors, who I know will be a good sport about this) and place them in various period poses from 1950s to the present.
Perhaps we can get a Genea-Blogger's yearbook going? Perhaps you need a photo of yourself or an ancestor for the upcoming 5th Edition of Smile for the Camera with a stylin' do?
Or perhaps I need something better to do on Sunday afternoons. Let me know. It might be in your best interest.

Thomas, you are brave! I hope Miriam is as good-natured as you assume!
This is just way too funny! I'm going to have to check it out.
An absolute scream. I recognized all those dos.
I particularly enjoyed the addition of my favorite fashion accessory.

What a hoot! Instant ancestry-ing at its best! Newspaper article, gravestone, and now highschool photo for making instant documents for those lost or brick-walled ancestors! LOL!

I about died laughing at these, Thomas! What a hoot! I'm looking forward to showing them off to my family and friends. I think my best look is 1962! ;-)

Thanks for having a sense of humor about this - Kathryn scared me with her comment there! I am partial to your 1964 look as is footnoteMoven if merely for the stylin' cats eye glasses.
Now that my scary hair photos are posted, I half expect to see some yearbookyourself photos of my all over the Interwebs.
Thomas,
Miriam is much more forgiving than I could be! It must be because too many of those looks hit very close to home!
