These are all fully-indexed and searchable. If you don't have a subscription to Ancestry, check out the special offer here for those who currently live in New York. The offer is good only for New York records on Ancestry.
I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for these records to become available especially in indexed form. I know what I'll be doing the next few days!

Thanks for this info, Thomas, I have big brick wall in New York City and would dearly love to find Mr Geniaus' cousins - this may just provide the key to get through that wall.
Fantastic! I just found my great-grandfather's sister in the 1925 State census. Now maybe the 1928 death I found is correct. I blogged about it here:
